Thanks experienced punter, you have just proven my point ........... I have been punting for 13/14 years now in Ireland, Britain, Europe and the US seeing literally hundreds of escorts and I have never had an experience like that thank God!!!

    Classy bird then ???

Having worked from my own home back in the UK for over 3 years, I like being in Hotels over here. Not cheap, not compared to the renting an apartment , but very relaxing, like being on my holidays!!

I'm sure the novelty will wear off and I'll get pissed off about keeping Mr Hilton and Mr Citywest in golf buggies but until then.....

And I honestly think that the staff notice less than you think......Having sat in the Reception area and watched people wander in and out, they don't notice.

However, sex and drugs and rock and roll in full pubic view, then yes, reckon you are asking for trouble.

Taylor, after the experience I just had in Sligo, I think it isn't US working girls that draw attention, I think it it the clients that may be in some cases starting to cause attention to be given!! You can read about it in my latest Rant/Blog. I mean just two days a go in Dublin, I had a client and what does he do he walks into the lobby of the hotel and says, "I am in the lobby of the hotel, what room are you in honey?" Then starts to repeat-OUT LOUD-the instructions I am giving him!!! I quite rudely told him to shut up, keep quiet and listen to what I was saying and to NOT REPEAT IT! After he arrived without incident, I then explained to him why he shouldn't do that.

But like you say, in a busy hotel, I too have sat in lobbies and the staff are too busy to notice anything, especially ones with restaurants, sportsclubs, and spas. Also airport hotels are good for the transient population as well, you have people coming and going all the time, at odd hours!

    Default Legally!

The general rule of thumb (at least the one I enforce) is that if the escort/punter is not indiscreet then it is not a problem. If not then action will be taken for a number of reasons , the most prevalent 2 being :
    - No hotel can afford to get a reputation as a "Knocking shop" as it will have a negative affect on the Tourist/Business bookings (people do not want to be seen staying in any premises that has this reputation.

    - The other (and probably the main issue) is the blurry legalities of the issue) If for example there was 6 Escorts working out of the hotel then as far as I am aware the owner of the premises may be held legally responsible for allowing his premises to be used for this purpose and for profitting from " immoral" earnings.
I am not saying that this is the exact ,or even accurate legal position, but it is the theory held by the majority of the people in the trade.

Hope this is of some help and I haven't rambled on incessantly.

I'm afraid I have a little bad news Anabolic. Your 6 escorts allowance is a little optimistic. In fact the law is that any premises with more than one lady working is considered a brothel and as such the owners can be held legally responsible. Ignorance is not a defence and the onus is on the owner to prove they were unaware of what was happening. For example if a night porter knew and no action was taken, the hotel is liable, if the receptionist had a suspicion, the hotel is liable. So its not really surprising some hotels are a little intense. Its as Anabolic said...no hotel wants the name and its future can be seriously jeopardised. After the In Dublin magazine lesson people are more aware of the consequences.

The Hotel thing is like any other illegal thing that you engage in,when i used to wait for a dealer to turn up at a meeting place when i used to do drugs a few years ago(Just the innocent ones hash, xtc not the gear!)my face used to be on fire when he would take too long to arrive, you start thinking everyone is staring at you, people walking their dogs all sorts,so in a hotel its defintely amped up a bit you walk in and you have to very quickly decifer where the lifts are,you can spend too much time confused walking around like a lost puppy waiting for someone to come over and ask is everything allright like when you´re in a shop or something.you almost feel your outsider-ness is glowing and its sometimes definitely a mood killer.so down on the hotels!!

The big thing when u go to a hotel is remain calm and act like u belong there, vary how u get to the room maybe take stairs to 1st floor then get in the lift or go to the bar in alot of the hotels you wont be as obvious going from the bar to the lifts as to walk straight in from the street past reception and towards the lifts. In fact one hotel in cork u can get into bar directly from street take the stairs to first floor and never go near reception also most bars in hotels are doing some sort of food so you dont have to be a resident to have buisness there and there are almost always people there.Dont be sitting in the bar get a phone call and then jump up and head for the lift, mostly just use common sense and dont act like its ure first time in a hotel.I have been to a good few hotels and i never had a problem but i think i do make a reasonable effort to blend in . And for christs sake if u have any suspicion that u are being observed abort the mission dont carry on regardless phone the escort tell her your suspicions and everyone lives to fight another day she will thank u for being careful. Finally if confronted dont on pain of death give a room number the worst they can do is ask u leave.Just be sensible
