best concert you ever went to
Whats the best concert you ever went to?
Went to see Bruce Springsteen the last time he was here and he was brilliant. Was so good that Im going to see him again this summer. Why is it that bands from the sixties, seventies, and eighties are still able to give great concerts while a number of the more recent big name bands are terrible live. For example I saw the Killers and the Kings of Leon live and they were shite. Saw Florence and the Machine live though and they were excellent.

Saw Iron Maiden last year in Belfast. It was the first time they'd played here
in about 20 years. Absolutely brilliant show, with new songs & old favourites
played to perfection. Even if they don't play here again, I'd travel to see them again.
Also saw Primal Scream at Belsonic festival - bloody good show & the after party
was great as well.

Ive been to many great concerts
but the best was Robbie Williams in Paris only 5000 people in audience Brilliant

Went to see Metallica in the Odyssey when they where here. Wow is all i can say. Best night ever

I think it comes from years of gigging, in the 70s, 80's that was about the only way to promote an album...just to play any available venue. Bands become big stadium bands really quickly these days, and i agree sometimes it shows.

I enjoyed U2 a cpl of years ago but the best was The Stones. We had no tickets so the police hoyed us onto the top of the wall

Richie Kavanagh in a beer tent at the national ploughing championships a couple of years ago. Was so good i went to see him 2 days in a row. I have all his albums too.
