Muffins
I regularly meet a friend for coffee and muffins. Over time, I think I must have visited every establishment that does muffins so maybe I've become a bit if an authority.
The best muffins - Insomnia. The worst - Starbucks. With varying levels of quality in between.
Do you harbour a secret about muffins ? As in where they've got great muffins. If so, please share.

I'm not an authority but the chocolate muffins in the McDonalds cafe's are surprisingly decent.
Have to agree with you about insomnia though, and €3.50 for coffee and muffin (mmm berry berry) is good value.
Also, when the phrase "muffin top" was being used to describe that extra few pounds some ladies were carrying, I always found it strangely appealing.
Oh was walking through Georges Street arcade the other day and there's a sort of pop up cafe there that seemed to have some nice muffins

I dont know so much about muffins but used to be a fan of cupcakes (what is the difference anyway). The best they do in Lolly and Cooks but yesterday I treated myself to the banofee which was not good at all and my favorite rapsberry and coconut and couldnt even finish it! I used to love it. Dont know what is wrong with me. Or is it their stadards slipping?
