The Gooser in Balina/Kilaloes. Clarkes / Galaghers in Bunratty.
Further to that, I'd also recommend swinging two streets over through all the junkies on Abbey Street to Shake Away on Liffey Street for a milkshake after Boojum's treats. Nothing more relaxing than that after my business in Dublin is done.
Wow, got a thanks from Lucy Must have said something right for once

Depends on what you are looking for and where you are?
In Dublin, Chapter 1 offers Michelin starred food at reasonable prices. For 2 star Michelin food you're looking at Patric Guilbald on Merrion Square - fixed lunch menu at EUR 35 a head is not bad value considering the expertise involved. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DEVIATE FROM THE FIXED LUNCH MENU OR YOU WILL WIND UP IN NAMA!
In Dublin I like, Tosacana (city centre and Dun Laoghaire) and Il Primo for Italian (just off Harcourt Street), and another (much less formal Michelin starred restaurant) L'Ecrivan, etc.
Gastro pubs - Finnegans in Dalkey (only serve food at lunch time but but unbeatable for scampi or steak - genuinely, food quality well beyond some of the top restaurants in Dublin) or Gleesons in Booterstown.
China Schechuan in Sandyford used to be great but tragically no longer.

PS - My actual favourite restaurants aren't listed above because they are a bit remote from where you guys are (plus I don't want to play 'spot the perv' on my next visit!).
