I want it noted that Mousey asked me on a date. And offered to pay. And drop me home with no sex after

Yup. I was in the alone, moaning at the food. Oh well, half of Dublin knows I am strange by now

Further to that, I'd also recommend swinging two streets over through all the junkies on Abbey Street to Shake Away on Liffey Street for a milkshake after Boojum's treats. Nothing more relaxing than that after my business in Dublin is done.

Moll Darby's in Limerick was also delicious food, amazing presentation too but think its closed now

cheaper but equally tasty & previously mentioned is Jasmine Palace in Limerick & Bambu Thai restaurant across the street is also lovely. Bambu does takeaway which is great if you dont have time to eat out

My fav foods are seafood/japanese so I also concur that Zen restaurant & Deanes Seafood are great in Belfast. Zen does need to be booked as can be very busy.

There is many more but cant remember the names, shall add here as I remember

There is a great seafood place in Kilarney main street in a hotel, pub downstairs & entrance to the restaurant is upstairs if anyone can remember the name.

    More to follow

Are you thinking of Lord Kenmare's? Thats above Murphys Bar in College St.
If thats not the place you are thinking of then I highly recommend a visit next time you are down here.
    Top class.

Depends on what you are looking for and where you are?

In Dublin, Chapter 1 offers Michelin starred food at reasonable prices. For 2 star Michelin food you're looking at Patric Guilbald on Merrion Square - fixed lunch menu at EUR 35 a head is not bad value considering the expertise involved. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DEVIATE FROM THE FIXED LUNCH MENU OR YOU WILL WIND UP IN NAMA!

In Dublin I like, Tosacana (city centre and Dun Laoghaire) and Il Primo for Italian (just off Harcourt Street), and another (much less formal Michelin starred restaurant) L'Ecrivan, etc.

Gastro pubs - Finnegans in Dalkey (only serve food at lunch time but but unbeatable for scampi or steak - genuinely, food quality well beyond some of the top restaurants in Dublin) or Gleesons in Booterstown.

China Schechuan in Sandyford used to be great but tragically no longer.

    Hd.

PS - My actual favourite restaurants aren't listed above because they are a bit remote from where you guys are (plus I don't want to play 'spot the perv' on my next visit!).
