Pat & Co - if you keep allowing girls post stupid pics and not allow reviews strongly suspect business for them and you will dry up pretty quickly. Theirs in the short term but, really, how long do you think you can fool people?

Considering the high costs of advertising on EI I would like to think that the screening process was much better. It gives these ladies an unfair advantage and in times of recession and high expense with accomodation etc, it is likely another reason why less geniune ladies are touring Ireland.

I agree, for the most part, with your comments HD, as it certainly will make it easier for some advertisers and
as Kate said, give them an unfair advantage, but these changes shouldn't surprise any regular watchers of E-I.

However, I also see some merit for proven independent ladies being allowed to still have their photos show
as verified, if they subsequently opt out of the review system.

Some of the other recent changes to E-I give me cause for concern, but that's for another thread, on another day.

For those ladies with international experience and who advertise on many different sites, I would like to ask a simple question --- is it possible to introduce reasonable measures that will make a verification system near fully reliable ?

As a client I would obviously like to have reviews available for all escorts,because that would suit me. However, I do understand that there is quite a bit of antagonism out there generally towards men 'scoring ' the preformance of the escort and furthermore I accept there may be many reasons why a genuine escort ( and jaysus, I am NOT asking why ! ) might not wish to be reviewed. Therefore I dont see that it is necessarily fair that a genuine escort ought to be forced to accept reviews in order to make up for a defective verification process.

I have been broadcasting this for ages. There is a simply way of making this system work, if the escort has pictures of herself, fine but she must then produce a photograph that proves that she is the person in her portfolio. How? Simple! She buys a daily paper in the town/city that she is in. She gets a photograph of herself showing her face with the daily paper showing the headline of todays paper. She can use a phone to take the picture but it must show her face and the headline/date of the paper. Im not aware if some of you know but a picture sent will show the date when it was taken. This is found in photoshop.

I have to agree with most of what has been said in this thread, I have watched quietly from the sidelines as the posters who were fantastic at picking up on fake profiles for the benifit of every client using EI were banned one by one.

From a punters point of view it appears that as the escort advertisers pay to use the site and we punters do not it is in the company interest to have as many adverts as possible at any given time. Unfortunatly by exposing the fakes the likes of Monster Monster, Franken and Tecno seem to have been seen as costing EI there advertising income and therefore as a thorn in the side of EI.

It really is a no win situation now for anyone trying to help other clients and I may also say the genuine escort advertisers who are perhaps even more effected by the fakes by exposing them as it appears a ban is the only thanks they appear to receive.

However even I was suprised by the new rules as it leaves the door wide open to a far greater amount of fraudulant profiles, I am very disappointed that instead of taking a harder line EI appear to be more interested in there income as opposed to providing the best service possible.

Not sure how EI verify photos but whatever the present system is, it ain't working.

As some posters have said most punters are not aware of the forums and therefore would not be so clued into choosing their playmate. These are the guys that will get burned by these fake ladies/profiles.

Ultimately the fake ladies will take over and the genuine independent ladies will be pushed out.
