Default Changes to E-I re Verified Photos / Reviews

We have ended the policy of not allowing escorts who do not accept reviews to have verified photos. From now on, escorts can have verified photos whether they accept reviews or not.

This is the way things were on E-I originally, then we changed things as it was what we felt the majority of clients and escorts wanted, but we are going back to the original now.

We believe, since the reporting fake photos system was introduced and all escorts are subject to this, there is now a method to report fake photos, even if the escort doesn't accept reviews, and so there is no need to continue insisting escorts accept reviews if they want to have verified photos.

We also don't want escorts to feel pressurised into accepting reviews if they'd rather not, which we feel is more likely to occur if a condition of genuine photo verification is that the escort accepts reviews.

    Thank you

    Pat x

I think that is fair enough. Once I see a red x , I automatically move on, even though the lady's photos may be truly of her. If an escort doesnt want to allow reviews, then that should be her choice. It is then up to the guy as to whether or not he wants to take a chance without there being a review. However, I think it should put more pressure on management to make sure that they get their verification spot on, as clients no longer can rely on the reviews for this.

Is this with immediate effect Patricia and/or as soon as it takes staff to go through profiles and verification pics?

    Good decision though

Fair enough, I'm not going to be that bothered either way, since I categorically WILL NOT see a lady that doesn't allow reviews anyway. I'd say things can work so long as management does their best to ensure that the ladies get their pics verified beforehand, and the folks out there help to call out and research for possible fake pics.

I support any ladies' choice to opt-out of being reviewd, but I will also point out that I think doin so can/will only be detrimental to their business, as both myself as many others, both regular posters and casual browsers, base their decisions on what ladies to visit on reviews. So if they don't mind have little to no business because they don't want to be reviewed, they can freely choose to do so.

This is with immediate effect, we decided to do it a while back, but IT have put the change through today. We do also have changes in the pipeline to tighten up photo verification, but they will have nothing to do with a lady accepting reviews.

I don't think so. The old argument was that it is not fair for escorts to be able to have verified photos if they don't accept reviews, as bad apple escorts get their photos verified, but then let their friend use their profile etc, and when they don't accept reviews a client cannot even point this out... But we have a report fake photos system now, which every escort is subject to, and if an escort with verified photos that doesn't accept reviews is messing about clients can report her via the report fake photos system. To me, although this wasn't a change people were crying out for, it is a change for good.

There is no doubt that not accepting reviews isn't good for business, as clients do generally like to see escorts with reviews, but I don't think we should continue having reviews and verification photos linked the way they were. Now, if a lady doesn't want reviews, but wants to get her photos verified, she can do that, and I think that is for the best.

It sounds like a good change, but I'm sure that some will have objections and seeing it as a reduction in the verification standard, as the tying in of the review system with the photo verification was a sort of "double lock" approach which, in theory, should have improved things.

I can understand some ladies not wanting to be reviewed. I would only meet a reviewed escort myself, who also has a presence on the forum, so I've no doubt that it might be harmful to their business but that's just a risk they will have to consider. At the same time I think reviews should be handled thoughtfully by clients and not be too objectifying or unfair, but that's just my view.
