I agree Heather, and it cuts both ways. I have had many ladies ask me personal questions (marital status/kids etc) in the first coupe of minutes of an appointment and I find that unecessarily intrusive.

I do think some level of personal interaction would, at least in my case, maybe make it not just feel like an objectifying transaction and ease the nerves. There's a difference between just being friendly and being especially nosey, it's not like any of the information actually means anything much (to me at least).

A better question to ask might have been "What is the impact of an escort's life on any personal relationship they might have?" or a rhetorical question so that everyone could speak hypothetically.

Yeah, that's true and it would fulfill my personable requirements, I can't imagine ever being the simple "in and out" client, but I'm sure I'll manage and enjoy the experience with someone a bit outside of my own "boring" age range.
