Another Banned Member

There seems to be somewhat of an inconsistency in the application of the rules and in the level of moderation across the board.

For example, one person can be banned and without a reason being given on the ban notification, does not know whether this is an arbitrary or justifiable action. On the other hand, rules get broken, such as this one

2) Always Treat Others With Respect
Please treat others with respect at all times here. You are welcome to disagree with people, debate issues, voice opinions etc, but you must do it with respect. It is not ok to launch verbal attacks, call people names or otherwise be aggressive or rude or hurtful or offensive. If you are, you will be warned or banned, possibly permanently, depending on the severity of the offence.

and it is questionable whether any action was taken or not.
