Another Banned Member

Is there a manager maybe that would give a brief explanation why someone is banned or is that done here

Sadly they don't seem to want to give us an open explanation. General consensus amongst the mods seems to be, if you have a query... ask!

Personally if I were a moderator, I would much rather quote which rule had been broken and be done with it once, than have a dozen or so irrate people pm'ing me about the same subject.

It begs you to wonder if things are always as cut and dried as they make them out to be.

I would also have a 'time out' symbol for those that choose to take a break, as I feel that the word 'ban' does not represent what is happening half the time. I do wonder if some of these people are having the time out suggested to them, or if it is their individual decision?

So... more speculation from me, as I too know nothing!

At least your word should carry weight, you and the other girls pay the bills here. Most of the punters here simply exist on the licence and good will provided by our hosts.

I'm afraid they would not go far on what I have paid them. They won't be getting their next instalment until July, so they might have to sack a few mods with the lack of money coming in.

is it simply a case that the present moderators are simply unsuited to the job? u may be popular with some nice fellow and all that but are u any good at your job? I don't really know the answer to that one skeletor. From the little I have interacted with the moderators on here, they all seem like nice enough guys and I enjoy the banter, but I haven't really been around here long enough to know how they moderate or make their decisions. It's common knowledge, that I'm not keen on the cheer leading and to be fair to them, it has greatly reduced in the last few months. I'm not sure if that is due to complaints like mine or they just moved on, but it felt like people were listening.

I do think there is a problem with the banning system, but that is partly to do with the fact it seems like more people are being banned than actually are with all these 'self bans'. It's all very confusing and believe me, with regards to being an Escort, if all you had to do is be popular, then Stephanie would still be here and she isn't. I personally don't think she should have been banned, but that again is just my opinion.

Apart from the link above could any Mod tell us what else around here might deserve a Banning? Why not create a list off things that members can read which can tell them it may result in a Warring, Infraction or Banning, Also the consequent off that Posting,
and if there is different lenghts of Bannings for breaking that rule? To me it looks like sometimes ye just look for a reason to Ban someone without explainig the Ban, And no we dont need to know the full reason.
