Stop Smoking support Thread

OK all, I have been of the fags for 1 Month, 3 Weeks, 6 Days, 7 hours, 47 minutes and 21 seconds (56 days). I have saved €725.30 by not smoking 1,632 cigarettes. I have saved 5 Days and 16 hours of my life.

Now guys, i am sure there is a lot of smokers on the boards, the above info just gives you a view of what you get back by not smoking, i have smoked for 25 years, so it was not easy to get to this stage, but sure as hell worth it,
I am sharing this into with a view to inspirning all of you guys to give them up for your benefit, , i want this thread to keep going as support on a daily basis for those of you with the sence to stop smoking, its one day at a time guys with this,

I buy 40 a day that's €9 a PAC so €18 a day the patch I'll cost out later. But I've been sick twice this year and spent €90 with the doc and € 30 in the pharmacy plus my energy level is down I want to get back into some training

This my third year smoke-free. You never lose the cravings, but how long they last gets smaller and smaller. Now it's just a passing thing.

In my opinion, patches and shit are a waste of money. At the risk of sounding (even more like) a tosser, you must impose your will and intellect on your body. Get a squeezeball. Cravings pass. They pass.

€6570 a year on cigs Julius. That would be a nice pot of money to do other things with it.
