Thread: what's up with the review censorship?

  1. #1

Default what's up with the review censorship?

I poked around a bit for guidelines, but none jumped out at me. Didn't exactly exhaustively search for them.

But I'm a bit confused ... in my reviews if I include some information that isn't completely glowingly positive, just generally possibly useful, like that's there's some spitting involved instead of lube, or that someone's breasts have not necessarily been treated well by gravity, it gets censored as "offensive" or "inappropriate". Give me a break! This stuff is true and useful. If spitting really grossed me out, I'd want to know about it from a review, but here it gets censored.

Plus censorship is generally lame. Who knows? Maybe this whole post gets censored. Maybe I even get banned. :-|

What stands out to me is that you have no respect.

'No luck trying to talk her into A'

She doesn't actually advertise A so why would you push for it?

I don't know if you'll get banned but there are certain escorts who'd refuse an appointment with you based on the shit you include in reviews
He felt her hands slide slowly up his thigh, he couldn't stop himself from growing hard. She caught his eye and in that second he knew: This erotic, sensual Lady is bold if she is anything. She would be upto mischief in no time...

In response to your thread its as simple as this, I don’t believe by removing any part of your review as censorship. I simply removed a part of your review as I judged it to me an offensive remark you made about one aspect of the escorts appearance. I don’t believe it was called for but if you believe that it was that important I believe you could have said it in a more respectable manner.

Please try and remember reviewing an escort and commenting on her physical appearance should be done with decency and respect. You are commenting about people just like you, a human being with emotions and feelings and should be spoken about with dignity and respect.

If you feel my removing of that part of your review is still wrong I suggest you contact one of our mangers and report it to them. If they feel there is nothing wrong with what you said I’m sure they’ll ask me to put you comment back into your review, but until and if that happens it shall remain as it is.

But ... that wasn't censored. Not sure what your point is. It's a bit of leap to "no respect".

Addressing that specific point, I didn't push for it, I asked for it, and "respectfully" took no for an answer. There was no request made not to review, and in fact reviews like that almost certainly drive business.

I've tried to make my reviews useful to both punter and puntee. These are the parts that were good, these are the parts that were not ideal; how is that a problem? What gets censored seems pretty arbitrary. Also censorship sucks.

Ok, fair enough -- thanks for the feedback. I shall encode the negatives more sugar-coatederly.

You come across as pushy and tbh I don't see the point in referring to a favourite that wasn't on offer anyway.

About the No Respect comment: Look at your reviews from a different perspective. You're right about reviewing a business but there's no need for the way you express your opinion. As you've already guess, sugar coat what you have to say

    Good Luck

OK, I don't mean to flatter anybody here but so far I see very little or nothing wrong with bumbum's reviews.

The part about A is followed by a smiley face, I personally did take it as a joke. The escort, if she doesn't do A will be in fact happy to have such detail on her reviews, as a double confirmation she doesn't offfer the service.

Maybe the part that was censored was bad, I wouldn't know what was there before, so I cannot comment on it, but excepting this, it's looks OKish to me.

There are some really nasty reviews out there, I won't give examples now, but bumbum's one are far from that level.

Thanks Lola. I'm reminded of Stephen Fry: http://imgur.com/EX5v4

After years lurking here and participating actively on C69, I'm finding this all a bit odd. True information should not be censored. I miss the kind of quality reviews on C69 (I'm not in the UK much anymore since recently) -- I've noticed the reviews here are to a large extent content-free. Lads spend their hard-earned dosh participating -- they should be wanting and providing the facts. And good providers can make quite a tall coin as well, and the good ones, who take care of themselves and make decision to do what they do in good faith, seem to not have a bad life.

    But what do I know.
