Had ostrich many times. It's very nice and lean and in fact very low in cholesterol and high in Calcium and Iron - so basically very good for you. As said above - don't overcook it though because it'll get rather tough. Perfect if you fry it in a griddle pan to medium. Great taste, so doesn't need anything apart from a bit of salt and pepper.
