We will all just have to wait for the aftermath but one thing guaranteed we all have a responsibility if we find ourselves in any of the situations shown on this program as punters we have a responsibility too walk away too listen too the advice given by the Ladies here tonight who are true independents Liberty , etc etc that we are sure and do our homework properly.

i dunno about anyone else, but this programme has certainly painted EI in a less than favourable light. If the primetime team can set up a simple database, then so can the guards, which is true, but so should EI. I mean if the people who made the programme can spot patterns and pinpoint a pimp moving gangs of girls across the country every week, why cant EI, or more appropriately, why dont EI? EI are receiving the monies and info about these profiles every week, surely patterns should be picked up on? Escort Directory bullshit or not, if there is any doubt, then act upon it instead of the tiresome "we are only a directory facilitating ad profiles blah blah blah". Surely it is better to act on a hunch and listen to what people are saying rather than take the risk and end up having another fiasco where groups of escorts are deported to face court cases and possible criminal sentences and more importantly, perhaps stop the trafficking of women here. Is a few quid every week worth that much to EI, that they'd rather not take the risk until its too late again? Again being the important word since it has already happened. There are far too many grey areas about EI's conduct for my liking to which we always get trotted out the same party line again and again. Well its not good enough for me anymore, so im out for now. But i will continue posting my warning threads and the obvious which EI continues to miss and turn a blind eye to, either accidentally or on purposd for the sake of a few quid every week. Sadly, the latter seems to be the more accurate view

it's pretty easy to spot real independents from fake ones.

I have noticed an ever increasing number of ( advertising ) ladies registering as members here, which on the face of it seems a good thing as one would normally interpret this as a signal that the lady is more likely to be ' independent ' in the wider sense. However, I fear that this may not in fact be the case.



I do believe that there are some independent ladies who work here but in order to do so need accomodation, back-up, contacts etc and are prepared to pay for this . These girls can be considered 'independent' and I would differentiate these ladies from the pimped girls depicted in the RTE programme.

If it is so easy to always spot these unfortunate 'agency' girls from the 'independent' girls, then I for one would be delighted if someone would produce a foolproof blueprint test for this.

a number of months ago i posted a review of annalia in dundalk whose photos were bogus and who was uncomfortable with favourites advertised, i made a point that this was an agency, melany, biance, nicole etc. they bounced from dundalk tio ennis to dublin to dundalk, reviews were ratted, other individuals saw the obvious similarities, nonetheless the advertisements continued. this is the rte agency, why did e-i not see this, trumpeting "stop trafficking" is fine but this was bogus to everyone from the beginning, how many more out there, there are many fine genuine independednt ladies out there, time to protect their integrity and their ability to earn a living by shutting down these creeps, isnt that what a database is all about not 100 euros of silver per week, this is a difficult enough job for an independent woman without fighting a cartel of revolving women who are forced to work 24 hours a day, lets protect our friends

Its all about greed it seems even if all shit hits the fan and say that E.I did get shut down etc worst case .. the millions they have already made they can walk away and reform under another name ...as well speak they maybe designing another website .
E.I definetly has come out of this with a tainted rep now , i see a previous rte documentary about child porn networks ..and not alone did the guards have a data based of who was downloading/ logging onto or even googeled child porn sites .. they cud pin point the exact i.p address and also location of the house and person living their so they could build a case over time . They even displayed a list of all the towns in ireland and the amount of people who had downloaded child porn in them ... it was very specific ... sorry to bring the issue of child porn up in this ..but im just saying it in relation to how easy E.I could monitor pimped escorts and also how the guards could be monitoring everyone who comes on here .

Well it's a point certainly. Maybe EI should be more proactive in this area. They do support anti-trafficking and it's one of the first things that comes up when you access the website. Because it is such a sensitive issue, yes there probably should be more done about banning adverts that are not independent. But, it would be almost impossible to do without personally visiting every escort who advertised on the site, and then that would probably make the operation illegal since part of the advertising service is provided in Ireland. And some would slip through the cracks. Enough effort and you can falsify almost anything.

If anyone remembers back a few years ago. EI did not have reviews. They did not have a verified escort system. More agencies advertised on EI than independents. So obviously some effort has been put into making the site more geared towards independents which ultimately benefits the client.
