What we are talking about, primarily, is pimps. "Agency" is just a euphemism most of the time.

For all I know there may be some established escorts here, who make extra money by facilitating girls from their home country to tour here, by supplying accomodation,infrastructure etc for these touring girls for which they take a cut and therefore can be termed 'pimps'. That certainly happens, and it is technically illegal, but I don't think it's what anyone here is talking about. When we talk about pimps, or "agencies" if we're squeamish, we're talking about much bigger operations.

If one was seeking to protect such a valuable business, especially this type of business, I think it a near certainty that pms would be monitored, despite protestations to the contra--- a type of listenning device !

Sam, I agree escort safety is the number one issue, but then EI is just a directory and don't have the resources to investigate, secondly if EI can map patterns as Primetime did and help highlight trafficked girls then isn't that an escort safety issue. Your answers are inconsistent to say the least and I have to say are more than just the cut and thrust of good debate. PM's are "meant" to be private and from what we have been told before they are only looked at under the most serious of circumstances. Well it's good to hear that my PM's have now been looked at, I wonder how often my PM's are monitored???? And who else's' are monitored on a regular basis?

What was the serious reason to go snooping into my PM's? Is there some sort of sniffer program that E-I use to check all PM's going through their system to look for certain words then boom that user is automatically selected for "random checks". What other words do you look for? Do you keep records of client/escort PM's?
