Thailands drug policy

Im not sure, I think maybe if you have enough money you can buy your way out of most things in Thailand. It also doesnt seem to work, since they have just as large a heroin problem as well, anywhere really.

Ya in Thailand you can buy your way out but handing them a 20 and saying get yourself some ciggies wont be enough.

i was in the infamous bangkok hilton prison back in 2004.
you could go and visit someone for your country if you wish bring em cigs or food..
spoke to a dude from cork who got caught carrying drugs internally..
he was malnourished and totally dispondant...
would not go back.
i visit thailand every year on my travels and most of the police turn a blind eye if the price is right...and thats late night drinking( is against the law)drugs and prostitution...
