Have you a punting phone?

Not really, if your concern is the (main) love of your life going through your phone then it's a lot easier to delete old texts, records and keep your phone on you all the time rather having a separate phone concealed 24/7. At least you could shit talk your way out of an ambiguous text, if your significant other discovers you have a secret phone or sim card then it's game over.

You have given this some thought Chief. Fair play.

Well having said that, I do use a punting sim. Having an unregistered sim number is a small comfort giving me greater anonymity which is the name of the game.
Also, with the sheer volume of "independents" advertising, I don't much fancy the idea of a pimp having my proper phone number.

I had a punting sim and would stick it in my work phone - good in that with most phones when you remove the battery and swop the sim the calls are deleteded (at least with nokia phones). But beware - texts are held in the memory! so have to be deleted manually.
Lately though I got a cheap smartphone for the sim. I justify it by saying work have tightened up on personal calls so I use it now and again for that to keep the work bill down(tru-ish). just getting used to the ins and outs of android before I get confident with using it.

When the mobile bill arrives is the danger time for me. herself sometimes glances through my numbers. I usually pass it off as one of the lads was ringing home or some idle remark. Main thing is to remain calm.I have become very adept at erasing all dialed numbers.

now i get a sim everytime i want a punt and throw it away after.... and to think some ppl think im wierd!

I didn't at the start but do now...safer that way and no surprise calls.

Just curious to see what percentage of us have a punting phone.

I do not have one James as I am single,luckly to have the one as its a bloody nightmare keeping track of it,how you could manage 2 I dont know,I would lose 1 in the first day.
