If I was an Escort I'd make sure the Revenue got their nibble - strange things happen...
( Bear with me here for a minute- following really is relevant to the Tax question posed in OP....)
A while back, a certain well known lady here in States inadvertently sent out a bulk email which accidentally used CC instead of blind carbon copy;
it gets worse- 'embedded' with many of the over 400 email addys were the guys real names, age, donation, review status,handle, which Forum they met through-
Even more gobsmacking was that many of the dudes clearly used work or real world addresses- so some of the entries read like this...fictional but you get drift)
John Smith, 36, $300 x 4, "BigWilly69" on EI, Review,<john.smith@acme-plumbers.com>
(but they all had this 'format' in terms of money recieved)
Regarding the Tax question: The 'list' represented close to $250k in cash earnings (forget the legality of escorting- she was paid for her time yada yada)... quite a smoking gun, yeah?! ... apparently she recently got a tap on the shoulder from the IRS (american revenue).....
< In case this sounds like a shaggy dog story- I can personally attest to the existence of that 'list'! ( rest assured the only real thing in 'my' entry was my rather common first name & it took 30 secs to vaporize that hotmail acount) Many gents know the girls' real name etc... the fall-out was substantial...do the maths- the taxman seems to have....>
It makes sense for everyone to pay a reasonable amount of tax to justify their lifestyle.

i hate tax, you pay tax on your earnings, you pay tax on what you buy, you pay tax on your savings and when you die you pay tax on your funeral(or someone else does).

The problem people have with VAT seems to be widespread but it shouldnt be. All u are doing when u invoice for VAT is
collecting goverment money, it was never ure money ure just a collection agent. If ure making monthly or bi-monthly
VAT returns u should already have set that money aside when u collect payment. If u dont do this of course ull get in
trouble seeing that this is either 13 1/2 or 23 % depending on whether u supply goods or services of ure invoiced amount.
Basically this money is not ures to spend
Blatant promotion should be outlawed
