They can hassle all they like. If there's no work what can they do but chase everyone to Austrailia?
Help Keyla in her fight with cancer. Every little helps.
It could happen to any of us.

the first two are correct, but the third may work at reducing the live register.

On a similar theme, up here the government want to limit the amount of benefits each household receives to £26000 per year. Has a lot of popular support.

Another brilliant example of lazy out of date Government thinking. Should of been done during the Celtic Tiger years, when there were actually jobs for people to take. Pointless now as there are so few jobs and shifting people onto useless so called re-training courses is of no benefit if there are no jobs to go into needing those skills.
Mind i was a bit miffed watching the BBC news last night that a woman was moaning that she might have to leave her nice flat for somewhere not quite as nice..tough..
Come in she said "I'll give you shelter from the storm "

Amazing that our government i.e the IMF/EU/ECB can rush through any amount of new initiatives to punish the unemployed yet three years into the Anglo-Irish Bank investigation there isn't a hint of a prosecution. Just another measure to force young people onto the planes and boat, but sure Baldy Noonan says emigrating is great craic altogether so what they're doing must be ok.

Should make people work for their dole. Plenty of things to be done, even if its only 20 hours a week. Not only will society get something back for the dole money, but I would imagine those who would be out doing the work would get something out of it(other than the money I mean)

i didn't give this much thought before. there is a need for 'Garda Reserve/Civil Defence', policing our streets
from the type of social scum who beat and injure our tourists, as last night in Cork and so much
    in the last few years.
