Well the most important thing is to never forget the risks involved in punting whilst married and to keep it in mind every day.
Getting out of the house is for me reasonably straight forward, every Saturday night is my night out with the guys from work has been for several years so its no suprise when I get showered and shaved ready to go the only differance is perhaps one night in four im going for a punt then catch up with the guys later in the evening.
I always keep a can of the same deoderant in the car as I use at home so after a quick shower when leaving a lady I can return home later that night smelling just the same as when I left. Its the small things like this that avoid any suspicion.
I dont use a punting phone prefering to just use my own for all calls and texts or emails, had a IPhone for a short time but went back to my prefered Blackberry as it has exelent password protection and no preview of the message or sender appears on the screen, plus my wife knows I have the password on for security for my work emails so she is not curious of why I keep it locked.
I travel to Galway quite a bit so if im staying overnight its always a good time to punt, otherwise its either a Saturday night or like today im just finished a nightshift so have until 4pm before she arrives home if any ladies in Belfast catch my eye.
And I really dont like all the lies and deceptions but its a choice I have to make every time I go for a punt, it really does not feel nice to break the trust shown and I know one day im going to have to stop before I get caught and trust me no matter how good you think you are at telling lies and covering your tracks if you go punting for long enough you will get caught.

Thanks Blue for the insights. You see, these are things,I just wouldn't think about, being single.
Things like keeping the same deodrant in the car, having a valid excuse for a phone password, and having a regular excuse to go out at the same time every week - it's all a bit like MI5!!Someone should write a book on these tips. Then again, the ladies will probably get it and that would be the end of it!!!

It's simple "keep your mouth shut" when I was married the odd hour here and there during the day was put down as a "meeting went over time" anyway thankfully I'm in a new relationship now and I don't have to punt ..

I think the key here is being Self Employed. Your time is your own, your money is your own and your whereabouts are your own business. I generally don’t have to ask may I go out, I more tell I have to go out and it is accepted…
