I am single, never married, and I see escorts. (Sounds like an AA meeting!)


I see escorts because I couldn't pull even if I wanted to.

And with the lovely ladies on this site, can you blame me for wanting to see escorts?

And I don't feel embarassed for doing it. (Although I certainly don't want my work, family etc.. finding out. But thats natural).

And I've never made excuses when going to see an escort. What's there to justify. Money and time well spent.

I am a flawed human being but I don't believe that I am a bastard. In my personal life I've only gone for girls that I've wanted to start a relationship with. I've been told by one 'casanova lad' that I lack the "killer instinct". Well I couldn't be bothered with that.

For years I wanted to find a girl I could settle down with and came very close. Now I'm at a stage in life where I'm not sure if I want that anymore and have withdrawn from the dating scene.

Unfortunately being a bloke, I still want regular sex. So instead of lying to women that I want something more, while all I want is sex, I see escorts instead.

I understand there are some dating sex sites but question the validity of these sites, which I suspect are mostly scams. Even so, I'd prefer to be in a situation where there is no misunderstanding as to where both parties stand.

There is a purity with escorting in this aspect. It is an honest transaction - one party wants sex, and the other wants money in return. Clearly there is more to any encounter than the cold mechanics of it, with very pleasant human interaction in most cases. But there is usually no confusion as to what the appointment is about.

So i don't think all men are bastards. And I don't think we are bastards for seeing escorts. Not saying it is a completely innocent "hobby" as it impacts on others in our lives, but I don't think we should be vilified for it - married or single.

Then again I would say that, because if I believed the opposite, I would have to stop punting.

Incisive as ever, Morpheus. Most of us on this planet are flawed in some way, so the "bastards" / "not bastards" distinction is too black and white. Bastards are people who set out to deliberately hurt someone else - they come on both the male and female versions of the species. I am naive and think they are in the minority.
