Could E-I mods possibly miss-use the rule on banning self promoting threads?

Surely it should be clearly specified what is considered self promoting, otherwise anyone can delete anything without any explanation. That is against the objective of this forum to encourage more escorts posting.

Its well known that the more escorts that post the better the boards are and if escorts cant promote themselves what would be the point of them posting. It would certainly liven up the boards a bit and hopefully cut down on the 'Im awesome' threads.

Why are some tools like pims or all these ridiculous cat ppl allowed to promote themselves but ladies who actually are here and paying for these reasons arent?

Why only Sam and Nicole? What happened to the committee you speak of in another thread?

The wide range of mods/managers we have now, means we can make a collective decision with people from all types of backgrounds and have different perceptions on different matters before we make a decision on anything.

I feel Sam and Nicole would be better equipped to answer this question as they have more control over the rules and regulations put into place on the boards.

Whatever about posters promoting their fav Escorts (like moi, I suppose…) we really cannot have escorts promoting themselves. What would stop you, lets say, starting thread after thread advertising your tour, your services etc… If every escort did this in General Chat the front page would be constantly filled with promotional threads.

My understanding of General Chat is a forum that all members, escorts and punters alike, may chat & joke or discuss light-hearted or serious issues without the chore of having to wade through spam. Because sex is often a popular theme, members like to discuss same in whatever form it may take. Admiration of escorts can be one of those forms, hence “Wow” threads, and “look at her” threads are popular too. But a barrage of “look at me” threads is deemed not desirable for aforementioned reasons.

But the site has an extensive “Advertisement” section where one my self promote to ones heart content. I feel the current rules are acceptable…

Having said that, there have been cases of girls whose grasp of the English language denies them the capacity or competence to interact effectively in most of the General Chat forums and they were limited to “Hello” and “Have a nice weekend” type threads/posts. Sometimes these were blatant “look at me” threads but other times they were not, but considered same by persons, begrudgingly, as self promotion. I have always found it quite easy to tell the difference and always would welcome those that at least make the effort… It is here I feel we should be more patient and tolerant.

There can be a very thin line though…….
