Could E-I mods possibly miss-use the rule on banning self promoting threads?

Btw, I didn't 'pick' Ciara out, I referred to her by name accidentally, as my intention was to refer to a situation
without naming any of you specifically. I didn't realise that I had done so until I read back on the post, by which
time it was too late to edit. I have already mentioned this, but you weren't prepared to accept my apology, and
continued with your smart arse comments.

I would also like to say that your thread about the duo didn't just extol the virtues of a fantastic experience,
as you also went to say "now the campaign starts here", which took it to another level, and that's what I
considered promotion, but you see no problem with it. Management didn't either, and I'm obviously in the minority.

careful forest i made a refrence to that fact in another thread a while ago but i never even named the mod in question and the post was deleted and i was told that i would not recieve an infraction but an outright ban even tho i have never even recieved a single infraction in over 4 years that i have been a member here.
really shine's a light on consitency here with doozer and other mods. a mod even thanked your post.

Doc thanked me because I said he & Highwayman were very 'low key' in their comments about escorts,
which is admirable given their mod status, and a natural desire to rave about favourites.
