Could E-I mods possibly miss-use the rule on banning self promoting threads?

just a note, i like ciara alot she truly is a lovely girl,

now i mentioned her as well within the last month benin has started at least 3 threads

i was using it as an example, but in petty sense as tbh i find the whole notion of self promotion petty,

my whole point prob went over the most people heads, ciara posted about loosing her phone was that self promotion?

one cud come to the idea that she posted that in order for the lads her to read it and go with pm bookings instead of calling!

anna thread was a rant! ciara thread was a tongue in cheek thread to how she was absent minded and lost her phone,

im not picking on ciara as i said, but simple she is one of the best examples! like im giving the black and the white!

i think this whole notion of self promotion is bullshit and sam point we only post to gain business also bullshit

i mentioned before i had to delete my facebook, well ei is now my facebook i post here for the fun of it i enjoy it! i am not a toute! as are ciara and anna toutes....

like if anna thread was delete by of course doozer who to be fair here is one of the worst mods for jumping the gun! if anything i wud suggest a refresher course for him on the rules not us! i have seen him time and time again make rash decisons

and of course u will support him as he is a fellow mod, but like if you notice his treatment of shirley for example agtonishing her in an arguement and when the arugment sways he infracts her where is the fairness in that?

and yes i fully expect for my post here to be belittled by mods in support of doozer i like doozer i really do, but everyone has faults and these are his!

so in summary i am sorry to single out people, but i was using examples

i have great time for benin and ciara, doozer etc

stephaine who pick on my tongue in cheek thread self promotes alot she even in her slamming of me managed to mention about the weather in dublin as she back next week, was that post deleted nope? should been? no!

as someone said before im too hungover to remember, if you do not like move on!

i sadly dont always take this advice, but then again i sometimes view posting as a blood sport

Doozer had his reviews removed after he became a mod, although not straight away.

careful forest i made a refrence to that fact in another thread a while ago but i never even named the mod in question and the post was deleted and i was told that i would not recieve an infraction but an outright ban even tho i have never even recieved a single infraction in over 4 years that i have been a member here.
really shine's a light on consitency here with doozer and other mods. a mod even thanked your post.

i do understand why you thanked that post the point i was making is that you seen nothing wrong with it that would warrent a deletion but the post i made that did not name the mod was deleted.
thats the diffrence with consistency i was refering to.

Anything we do as mods on boards will always be for the betterement of the community here .We're not going to get it right all time , but we do take on board comments made and learn from them .
As a community filled with clients and escorts of different ages and social backgrounds it will always be evolving .: doc

I made a post a few days ago in general chat which I said that I was going to advertise 50 euro bookings and leave the client to wank into a latex pussy while I had a cuppa. That wasn't a self promotion post, absolutely no promotional intent, (nor have I had any PM's for it lol) but I am now wondering why it wasn't considered as such and deleted..

Of all the message boards I ever took part in, the best ones, which seemed to work successfully, were ones where there were few, but very fair and very clear rules. Mods did not take part in the board discussions, but were unheard, unseen and implemented the clear rules fairly and consistently. The decisions were not up for discussion. Ever.
Too many rules here and too much ambiguity.

Rules need to be applied with consistency across the board, by anybody who has the power to moderate. Issues always arise when in similar situation different rules or no rules at all have applied.

I understand sometimes it is a judgement call but many times it is very clear what is self promotion and what is not self promotion.

If trying to assess what is self promotion and what is not seems very difficult, just come up with some very basic black & white rules and allow everything else. In my opinion, direct “come and see me” posts, mentioning current fees and current promotions, mentioning location or tour dates for non advertiser escorts may be some pretty easy to follow black & white rules to be frown upon.

Allow anything else, it’s really not a big deal. There will be no more problems for you to moderate (other than the usual, beside this category). There is really no big deal if escorts talk about themselves, how wonderful or how horny they are, unless they don’t go ahead to solicit while doing this. All things will balance eventually. Yes, you will get a few silly threads in the beginning about how lonely or cold some escorts are, but people will get used to them and eventually ignore them anyway. Natural selection, I guess.
