Could E-I mods possibly miss-use the rule on banning self promoting threads?

I know you had an eloquently put answer and I feel that this post doesn't do it justice but I have to take issue with point number 5, I have read all the thread and ALL NIGHT I have been refreshing the page all the damn time! I have no life!

Now there has been much made about mods punting, reviewing and posting. Mods are people and of course they can punt, they can post and they can review, but if mods are going to pass judgement on posts by the ladies and apply rules subjectively then they should work within the categories. Reviews are for review section, and posting is for discussion and fun. All that having been said the Benny thread discussed was a bit of fun and a male ego boasting, the intent from where I see it was to make us other posters jealous and not to promote any one or two escorts. That having been said I can see how it might be considered out of place. However, focussing on Benny's thread is moving away from Annas original post and does nothing except make the issue even more clouded.

The facts (as I see them)

1. Benny is a tool
2. Benny is a mod
3. Benny is NOT awesome
4. Anna was complaining not self promoting.
5. I have no life as I have read this full thread.

But from a punter/ male point of view - this school boy thing of telling others how great an encounter was - is one of the fun aspects of the forum. For the majority of us - this is the only platform in life where we can discuss these things.

Your point about reviews: I think reviews need to be objective (and about the lady or ladies concerned). And sometimes a bloke just doesn't have enough space in a review to express his euphoria. Not disagreeing with anything you've said Kate. Just giving my two cents worth as a punter poster.

The more rules there are, the less fun this place becomes. And when it ceases to be fun, then there is no more point in posting (for me anyway).

I've now read your review and your general chat comment and I'm very sorry but it bears no resemblance from some of the rubbish that has been written more recently. Why not consider the other members of the forum when posting and make it interesting for everyone to read? Seriously I could happily write a comment about what you wrote on your thread and it would have likely been commending you on your use of literacy, but when it's not thought out beyond the fact that someone just wants to brag, it doesn't work. If it's simply 'cor these girls are great and I had them!!!' then what is it adding?

Maybe the emphasis needs to be more on content and less on subject matter?

p.s. It really annoys me that I can't see the ladies that you met as they are not paying for advertising. I think this is a flaw in the site and there should be some way of keeping up a link for those that might be interested in the future.
