    Good man.

I'm only adding this second sentence because it wouldn't let me post 'Good man' as the phrase was too short.

This is an honest question as the debate on sexuality after being with a TS has come up several times in the past, labels don't always fit but do you mind me asking are you Gay/Bisexual or would you consider yourself geither now that you've sucked cock eventough it was attached to a feminine person? or would you consider yourself straight and just curious?

That's a good question. I must have missed those threads.......

I suppose it comes down to which sexual body type you prefer. The fact that there's a penis attached is secondary to the fact that I'm attracted to them. I've been with ts's, but I've never been with a guy, not due to the fact that they're a guy, but due to the fact that I'm just not attracted to guys' typical body type. However, I have been attracted to 2 guys before, although this was because they were incredibly good looking and had an effeminate way and body type.

Given that gay (for me) means that you like men exclusively, and bi means that you like both, I can't honestly say that I'm bi, because I've never met a man with a typical male body type (ie; wasn't effeminate in most ways) that I have been attracted to. This includes transexuals and transvestites. The male body type just doesn't do it for me. So, by process of elimination, I regard myself as straight.

That is all subject to change btw. I could have a great experience tomorrow with a guy that might turn my world upside down and leave myself and my partner scratching our collective heads wondering where to go from here. lol

Actually that's one of the best logical answers I've read but there is still the matter of a cock and no matter how effeminate a TS is at the end of the day they are still a man so being with one has to mean you are at least Bisexual, no matter what sexual orientation you are, we all have specific types of look we like, some women like rugged looking men, others like the pretty boys, I can't see how if you like a man with boobs and looks feminine you are not Bisexual, I suppose a TS is both so Bi could fit? Really is a tough merry go round of a scenario..

Well I'd consider myself straight, but I did experiment when I younger with both a male and a TS.
I didn't really enjoy either all that much so I've only been with women ever since.
Occasionally I'll see a TS profile that I think "maybe" but I've never felt that strong of an urge to actually go ahead unlike with most of the female escorts I've seen advertising.
Therefore I'd consider myself straight if that makes sense.

Ah the old label thing again........

Firstly why do we still feel such a need to put labels on people or their sexual orientation???

Does it make us feel a little more secure to put people into categories????

And if we insist on going down that road then why are people just labeled as gay straight or bisexual???..... (or perhaps Bi- curious)

I'm sure there is a label for a man who is straight but is also a transexual fancier, and if anyone knows it could they please post it here so that we can add it to the list of sexual orientations that people must fit into so we can end the merry go round that always seems to follow this particular question...........

    Gay........
    Straight.......
    Bisexual.......
    Trisexual???

    BTW, Experiencedguy, nice answer......

You know, I thought it was tough scenario too until I let go of the insecurities I had.

It's about urges, really. If you see a beautiful woman and want to seduce her without knowing she has a penis, does that make you bi? How would her having a penis change the way you are attracted to her? How about if the woman was post op, was born a man, but has a vagina? Would that change the self-attached label?

What is even more pertinent a question is, that if the people that go to visit transexuals or transvestites have not considered labels, or (as is most probably the case) just haven't assigned a particular label to themselves and feel no need to, why should anyone else?

I regard myself as straight, but only through a process of logical elimination that was necessary to answer your question. I hadn't seriously though of it before because it just plainly didn't bother me, and I hadn't felt the need to answer the question before.

I could be bisexual. That would make any man that ever been attracted to a beautiful m-to-f transsexual bisexual by default, whether knowing she was born a man or not, purely through the fact the she has a penis. I don't think this is the case however.

Being brutally honest, I feel that those who need labels have either had their sexuality questioned by either themselves or others, and are uncomfortable with any kind of desire that is contrary to the role that they have set themselves.

Sexuality, like everything in life, is fluid. It changes all the time, whether the person involved is comfortable with the change (and indeed, change in general) or not. The real question here isn't about labeling sexuality, but about how comfortable the person asking the question is with their own desires.

The first few minutes of the first episode of Cracker should be shown in schools. It details Robbie Coltrane throwing books by Jung, Freud, et al. back at his audience in a lecture hall, and telling them that he rehearsed the death of his father for years. The only problem was that his dad wasn't dead. The moral, he pointed out, was that before seeking knowledge about the self in books or from other people, the first place we should check out is ourselves. Find out what's going on in ourselves.

Then, break out the books and labels, but the chances are, you'll realise how utterly useless Freud, Jung, Niezche, Kinsey, and all of the others actually are in the cold light of self truth.
