Default Think before you cast a stone!!

So in light of a recent comment I made which turned out to be completely out of order which I have whole heartedly apologised to the lady in question (no need to bring things back up or name names, if you know what or who I'm referring to great, if you don't, sorry, best leave it alone) anyway, I would like to re-iterate that it's ladies livelihoods we are dealing with and while we see no harm in a little idle gossip we should sit back and think about the ramifications of what we post.
You would think at this stage I would have learnt, I keep myself to myself for the most part but occasionally you are told stuff, we, myself included should really learn to keep this information unless someone is in danger or in harm's way to ourselves unless it's proven to be true. People might tell you things with the best of intentions but how are we to know there source is correct.
This job is hard enough without us amateurs butting in stirring shit or unintentionally putting a lady in harm's way,
I don't mind warning each other of possible risks to us clients but if you do warn someone be sure you have your facts correct and where possible, limit the amount of people you tell, you never know who is reading!!
PS. I'm not getting into a debate about past issues, on this occasion I know I was wrong, we all make mistakes and he who hasn't can cast the first stone, I'm still learning and will be until the day I die, I can only apologise for what I have done wrong and hope those who are effected can accept it.

I don't know what you said or did, Anon and, as you said, I don't need to know at this stage.

I think we have all been guilty of something or other, in our personal life, and in this virtual world.

Gossip is a dangerous thing, but I'm sure there are many(members & escorts) that participate in it,
behind the scenes, and don't give a second thought to whether the information they are passing
on is accurate, or even relevant as something to be shared.

I agree with the sentiment "Let he or she who is without sin, cast the first stone"

Some on here are far too quick to judge, but don't like being judged themselves.

To err is human, to forgive divine.

Yup, we all say dumb things sometimes, and bygones are bygones. I don't know and don't want to know, but you're man enough to admit and apologise.

    Kudos.

Thanks, I'm not looking for good graces, if anything I just want people to open their eyes and think before posting.. I have learnt the hard way, hopefully others can learn the easy way from other peoples mistakes..

I know exactly what you mean anon and the particular incident you are referring to.
Lessons learned by us should be that irresponsible posting not only puts the individuals anonymity at risk but also her security and business.
Very well summed up Morph and Credit where Credit is due for your honesty and public acknowledgement of that error anon

I think the key thing to consider before posting anything is what you've highlighted above Anon - it's ladies livelihoods we are dealing with !!!! Things have been said on the forum that have completely ruined a lady's business. There are threads that escalate into a lynch mob - and essentially the escort concerned gets tried without a jury and without a realistic chance of defending herself. This sort of practice should stop.

I would also like to point out that these rules should apply to client and escort posters alike. Escorting is hard enough without us amateurs (or fellow professionals) butting in stirring shit or unintentionally putting a lady in harm's way or destroying her career.

I am not referring to any specific threads or incidents, but in the there are many to choose from.

    anon361,

you make some valid points however I must admit to be a bit confused. You say we must sit back and think of the ramifications of what we post, yet when a person posts a review, especially a negative review, will that not have ramifications for the lady in question.

Your argument in principal I wholeheartily agree with but I find the thread contradictory, especially in terms of Posts v Reviews scenario.

Hi liberty, sorry but my point has nothing to do with reviews, Eugen is just getting a little dig in because of a difference of opinion about a lady we both met. That's a personal experience and can be commented on, whether you believe the review is subjective but that's another discussion.

I think you might be getting a bit mixed up, Anon

AthloneLover - Male according to his profile, and not to be confused with
LibertyLove who is, according to her reviews & profile, definitely female.
