To add to what Saoirse has explained:

FYI- Tineye now doesn't seem to be as comprehensive (at spidering pics as Google-Images) but occasionally it will catch something Google won't ( & vice versa)-ie if you don't get any hits on one make sure to try the other...

If you're running Firefox install the TE add-on ( takes 25 secs)- then when you right-click pic & select "Run Tineye", it runs automatically in another window..ie It takes two mouse clicks to run Tineye!! Similar process for Google images, ( although it takes the huge investment of all of three mouse clicks.. just saying!
