    Default Hypocrisy in society

Why is going out, getting blind drunk and finding someone to have a one night stand okay (and makes you a 'legend' if you're a young male), yet seeing escorts makes you 'sad' in some people's eyes. Is it because people need an excuse (particularly women) out of fear of being judged as a slut and alcohol is a ready-made excuse?

There is a lot of hypocrisy in society. It is how some people justify certain things and sleep at night so in a way it is almost a matter of self-preservation.

What I find even more odd is that it is ok to go to Amsterdam, for example, and pay for drugs and sex and that is not viewed in the same light as visiting an escort at home in Ireland. In so far as it is not something you would keep to yourself.
