Apparently one of Suarez's Urugyan team mates is affectionaltely known as 'El Mono' (the monkey). Presumable Evra did not see the funny side to being called a monkey.

Liverpool are now claiming that Evra should be charged for referring to Suarez as a 'Sudaca' which can be translated as 'South American'.

To be honest the video footage would not have helped Suarez. You could clearly see Evra getting madder and madder while Suarez stood there sniggering at him.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has been suspended for eight matches and fined £40,000 by the Football Association.

Suarez was found guilty of misconduct after Manchester United defender Patrice Evra accused the Uruguay international of racially abusing him during the Premier League clash at Anfield on October 15.

The Reds forward can appeal against the unprecedented sanction and the suspension will not come into effect until after the outcome of any appeal hearing.

Liverpool have 14 days from the point when they receive the FA's written reasons for their decision to lodge an appeal, with the ban not beginning until this date has passed.

What's all this 'our great leader' and 'our great England captain'. This is EI not EE. But that aside, the England captain has always been somewhat immune from FA sanctions.

Mind you and IMHO Terry is not even worth a place in the England squad these days. Though, you have feel a little sympathy for him having to play beside that Luiz idiot week in and week out. That would be enough to wreck anyones nerves.

Oddly enough Chelsea, or Villas Boas to be more specific, would probably be delighted if Terry got an eight match ban. They should have taken the City money when it was on the table.

FIFA have a bad rep over the last couple of years but they are working well on fair play and anti racism, its a disgusting practise by footballers, I m not condoning Suarez but Evra does get in players faces too. Also it may seem strange but there is never any cases where a caucasian is the subject of abuse, in South America they always use Gringo etc.

The English F.A. have to be seen to be taking a hard-line on this one because of their “Stamp Racism Out Of Football” campaign they had a few years ago.

As for Terry the footballer yeah he was once a good back but not these days he’s lost his legs years ago he’s too old aka dead wood in that backline but he’ll still not get an 8 match ban if he’s found guilty because of who he his.
