It's called recession chic. Google has a great reverse image search now - better than Tineye in many instances mainly due to the massive amount of sites they spider. I use it regularly in my line of work.
Go to Google - Images, click the little camera icon and then insert the URL of the image. (This can be found by right clicking any image and selecting "view image".
Found some of my competitors using stock images of "clients" for their testimonials. Same images were on hundreds of websites - lol!

Cheers- Been using Google Images for a while & you're correct- it seems to have overtaken TE in terms of breath of databased images..but TE offers an add-on in Firefox- it takes 2 seconds to run ( as opposed to 4 in GI haha)

False advertising is a part of life but E-I is just an escort directory. Accuracy of photos are not their responsibility.

That's an interesting view but surely the point here is why is it left to a handful of posters, and particularly Monster x 2, to point these profiles out. Can't 'Adstaff' be trained to do so - oh wait, that might cost a whole morning in training while 30 of these shite profiles go up ...

It also beggars belief how long fake photo reports take to be posted ...

Hmmm, is there a pattern here ... No can't see any reason why a commercial website getting paid to accept profiles might put some money inti weeding out fakes (unless we get vocal!).

Do you mean the 45 seconds it takes to install the Tineye Add-on or the 4 seconds it takes to run Google Images? Half a Day could train the staff to track these clowns down to the rocks under which they hide.. but all your points are very valid & well taken!

We know the story already. E-I accepts blatantly fake ad for a fee >> it's down to punters and escorts to submit fake photo reports >> after a couple reports photos are removed >> faker then pays E-I for new fake profile >> repeat

E-I's a business and that's sound business practice. It sucks for punters that get caught out by such profiles and it's not nice for E-I's genuine customers advertising here who have to compete with spoofers... but that's just the way it is.
