As Sepp Blatter blunders go this one's fairly tame. That said, I can't stand the cunt. Football only has a chance to regain some credibility once he's gone though unfortunately FIFA is corrupt to the core - and Platini wouldn't be that much better than him.

It is a gaff, but not one of his worst. And I think it's been overplayed. He's is guilty of a lot more than this in my book - starting with completely destroying the credibility of the beautiful game! .

Plus he has archaic views and has held back the game from modernisation along the lines of other sports. (Instant video replay being one example of something I think should have been brought in a long time ago, but has been completely vetoed by Blatter).

He needs to go! The sooner the better! And it won't be too soon if it happens..
