Anyone using a tablet device to Chat or view?

I am debating buying a tablet device as a Xmas present for a lady friend of mine, something like an Ipad. I tried to use the Ipad I have to access the Chatroom here but since Apple does not support Flash it will not run and she would want to access all the services here inc Chat whilst on tour. Are any of you using a tablet like a Sony S or P or similar or which would you recommend I buy for her?

I have an app iswifter that does all the computing somewhere else and sends it to you and I just tested it in the chat and it worked. I does allow you to run flash videos and games but they can be a bit choppy

Wow. Just downloaded iSwifter, interesting looking thing. Must use it a bit and see if it's usefull. The iPad is fantastic except for its limitations around flash. I'd say the chat room might be the only thing on EI it doesn't support, that and the Dublin escorts map but you can click on the different text locations to get around that one.

I've no experience of any other tablet device I'm afraid so can add nothing to your quest.

Hello bog man.Im using my smart phone for this.Im hoping Santa will bring me a tablet .those i pads are brilliant.
