What would you get hung for ?

UkHeather recently queried why guys are prepared to risk everything (longterm partner / wife, family etc ) by visiting escorts.

To those guys in that position , what do you think would be the nail in your coffin if you were to be caught out ?

I would have thought most guys would survive being caught out in a 'once - off ' type episode, maybe even a few more stretched over a long period of time.Maybe some of you think being caught out once would be enough to do fatal damage , alternatively, others might think discovery of multiple no - strings attached , paid sex would not be fatal ?

I would have thought the following examples would be fatal;

* transmission to your SO of an STI

* a large history of booking many escorts over a long period of time

* discovery of lieing and deceit traced to times when you were in fact visiting escorts

* wasting of funds on escorting when badly needed elsewhere

Could your relationship survive any of the above ?

Where do you think 'the line ' would be for you ? Do you think that line would be the same for most guys or do you feel you are particularly under the kosh ?

your still not being faithful so there for it is still cheating

That may well be the case but it does not answer the question of the survivability of the relationship.

Women are different, they have different tolerance levels. Couples have completely different relationships to others, different personalities, different circumstances, different pressures. Some liberal, some very conservative. That is why I sought people's views.

I guess many guys might survive a one off sexual encounter, whilst for others a massage with HR might be fatal. Remember, it is a very big step to bring a longterm relationship to an end, particularly one involving a family over what might be a one- off , thoughtless , spur of the moment encounter with an escort. However, there is a line for everyone and that is why I raise the question.

i see your point alright i know if it was me that was caught with an escort even if it was only a massage i would be done relationship over. I know other guys who shared the same hobbie as me visiting escorts and the same for then if they were caught i think if your caught once its going to be a very long time before your trusted again every argument you would have even years after it would be throwing back in your face it happend to a mate of mine she couldn't deal with it no matter how hard she tried.

Id say every married guy or every guy in a relationship would know their partners limits of what they can work through and what will be unsalvagible. So in that sense they know the risks and would naturally weigh up those risks with the chance of being found out.
