Did anyone watch panorama the other night?
I didnt watch the whole thing but I managed to get a fair bit of it.
Cops behaving Badly
It said something along the lines of the police aren't doing their jobs properly, that a sex offender had been missing for something like 9 months, the police never kept an eye on him properly.
Three days before the malicious rape and murder of a young 13 yr old (info could be slightly wrong their) this sex offender had been caught a total of 16 times on special police cameras designated to catch certain registrations. At the time these registrations were flagged, the policeman responisble for calling it in, was not at his desk...No one was.
The young girl, was raped and murder and left for dead. The mother and father not knowing where she was or what had happened...It then became common knowledge when the investigating bodies had to issue a public apology for the mistakes made by the force in this murder case. THIS could have been avoided.
So what does happen when the police break the oath to protect life?
What happens when they make a mistake or break the law?
Any views on this? or did anyone manage to seee the programme?
