Thumbs up The Ides of March / movie

    The Ides of March..

Excellent movie directed by George Clooney, starring G. Clooney , Ryan Gosling and Philip Seymour Hoffmann..

Idealism, principles, naivete, intrigue, conspiracy, betrayal, personal devastation, ruthlessness, cynicism, extortion,

    loss of innocence..

All intellectually done.. One dead body..

    Just like real life..
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

that synopsis of the movie can only make me think of a single phrase to sum it up "Woe is Me"

    That's a tiresome comment.

It's a great movie. Watch it before any smart comments.

My synopsis is dead on re movie.

Going to see it this weekend. On a side note, Anonymous was a bit of a strange one, part thriller, part comedic.... all conspiracy.

Hmm. I'm still not sure about it, even though I like Shakespeare.

Don't forget Paul Giamati, an excellent cast through and through, all the way down to Evan Rachel Woods (who we all would by the way).

A good movie, showing the American politicos for their true nature and all as Stephanie describes.

However, and not to spoil for anyone who has not seen it, the final scene left me personally wanting a little more from the film. G Clooney could learn a thing or two about direction from C Eastwood. In my opinion of course....
