However, the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act of 1993 prohibits soliciting or importuning another person in a street or public place for the purpose of prostitution (This offence applies to prostitute and client.). It also prohibits loitering for the purpose of prostitution, organizing prostitution by controlling or directing the activities of a person in prostitution, coercing one to practice prostitution for gain, living on earnings of the prostitution of another person, and keeping a brothel or other premises for the purpose of prostitution.

are you know implying i walk the streets armed with a whip and thigh high boots

so let me get this right unless as i am soliciting in streets taking money off another sex worker or coercing someone to be a prostitute none of this applies to me so not breaking any law [i think you just proved my point]

another piece of info thats relevant is that a reseidance either leased or owned by a sex worker cannot be classed as a brothel unless it is used by another person who is not the lease holder or owner of property as this makes it a place of habitural prostitution/ brothel
    xx
    hhehehe the great escape.............anyway,

I Westside wish to sincerely apoligise to Yasy Sweetie for implying that she is clueless on Irish law with regards to prostitution in Ireland as we know.I also wish to clearly point out, that Yasy Sweetie fully declares her income for tax purposes and is in no way contradicting herself at least knowingly anyway.
Yasy Sweetie, heartfelt apoligies and heat drenched kisses.

Will ye look at the Sweeties weapons,
    Westside.

PS i bring just one weapon with me.

“brothel” is a common law term and means a place resorted to by persons of both sexes for the purpose of prostitution. There must be at least two women or men plying their trade as escorts in the place. If two persons are using the premises for prostitution, the place is a brothel and it is immaterial that one of them is the occupier. Therefore, the home of a escort is not a brothel unless another person is also using the premises for prostitution.
brothel' shall not include the bona fide home of a escort unless the premises are used by any other escort for the purpose of prostitution;”.

would i be right in saying that under the 1993 act it says a brothel or premises i assume an apartment would qualify as a premises

i hope they dont legislate and legalise this industry anytime soon as then we will all have to put up are prices to take in to account the massive taxs the goverment will charge and you know they will charge us at the highest tax rate they can. then where will be!!

i worked in australia for a while where its legal and the tax situation there is a joke working ladies get taxed more than anyone working in any other industry. on the plus side if its legalised, at least i would be able to put condoms strap ons and vibrators through my books without any funny look from accountants[lol]
I hope the Revenue never see this as you are admitting publicly that you falsify your tax returns. You may choose to underdeclare you tax liability and spend the money on designer shoes but get sense and keep quite about it.
I am confused as to whether you think what you do is legal or not. If you think that you are operating legally in your own home as a prostitute why would you say "I hope they dont legislate and legalise this industry"?

if you had read the post correctly you will see i do not falsify tax returns and was just saying usually when goverments legislate on tax and sex work they are not always the fairest.
so the guys posting thinking legalisation will make escorts cheeper are probably wrong that was the point it was made on aboutin page 4
where did the designer shoe bit come from!! and why do i have to keep quiet about paying tax!!

you are making a mute point here god knows why as all your questions have been answered in this thread
i for one see this matter closed as everything that can be said has and you are rehashing points alredy answered

bugger 20% pay rise i think i need a 40% pay rise after all this
the only rerason i have health insurance is i need it. I do alot (actually im dong less than ever now), but i still do alot with myself. If i go to the gym and rip some tendon often (has happened and will happen again). If its a rupture ,it will need surgery.I get an mri (not covered),consultations (not covered),surgery (covered), physio and rehab stuff (not covered)and oh yeah time out of work(not covered). So Sweetie ,my prob is this,i could care less what people do but when it affects me,i do and the fact that prostitution is illegal affects me becuase there is undeclared income spent on fashion clothes, high heeled shoes, sexy bags and hair dos...........thats no good to me Sweetie.I need more cover.

its entirely up to the escort to adjust prices as she wishes, its her business , so she sets her own prices.

I have been with some escorts paid 300 for an hour and had an awful time, also paid 180 recently and it was one of my best experiences in recent times.

On the other hand i have also spent £500 stg per hour with a couple of US pornstars last year, and it was absolutely amazing !

My point is its all about value for money, some escorts give that and will continue to do so no matter what they charge, and some will be overcharging at 250 per hour because it is not value for money.

Any thoughts?
prices look to be staying down here in the north. Theres a fantastic residents charges £50/hr in a town near me. Generally the daily spurt advertisers are £80/45 mins except if theres a queue. Its going to be a harder year for escorts, given the economic climate and competition from foreign girls and the no of local girls that are starting part time.

I'll be paying £50 from now on.
