Sorry to read about your woes and it really is an awful place to be. However on the one hand the girl had the honesty and sincerity to share what she wanted with you. Ok she has hurt your feelings, but a least she wasn't unfaithful etc. She obviously had and would still appear to have respect for you. In one sense she has made this call (and I am sure she also feels the loss and sadness you have) but is been true to herself. And I imagine the last thing she would wish for would be you to mope about. Give it time acknowledge your sadness, talk to your buddies and bit by bit try and rebuild your life. It will take time but will be worth it. And with regard to the booze it is a well know source of depression when used to excess so maybe get active in sport etc and distract your self, and the gym is a good suggestion. I may know only few ( very very little girls) who will do this job for longer time than 3 years, usually after this period of time most girls retired.
There is no recipt for happines, no matter what job you are doing. I am not an escort and never been ne, I may not understand your work fully, but in my opinion this is personal choice and your character rather than job you do.

Very true words but unfortunately it is not that easy, if you got hurt you would now. We all eventualy will forget about this but that takes time. The question is how to go throught this time without getting hurt? -I do not know, sorry lol
