I prefer reading the threads with arguments rather then all the 'oooh, look at my new photos, thankyou, sweet kisses' threads. I don't bloody bitch about it all the time though.

Agreed. I prefer to read about real things that actually mean something to the people posting rather than the sweetmess and light stuff.

Now lads, you are both good fellas (in my book) and I have the height of respect for ye both, so don't jump on me for saying this ......but I'm one of those who likes the mindless "Good morning/good night" threads along with the 'oooh, look at my new photos, thankyou, sweet kisses' threads.

It's escapism for me. I have to enough to deal with in the real world that I enjoy the boobies and ass threads when I come here, as it doesn't make my head hurt.

Now don't think for one second that I'm suggesting the entire be forum be made up of those sort of threads, as even I would get bored then.

I do enjoy the threads that deal with my other real life interests - politics, current events, sports and cars.

I don't like to see conflict on the boards but clearly appreciate that this is part of any community. (I'm talking about serious squabbles, not light digs at each other). I get pissed off on the days when the forum is dominated by conflict and all threads relate to that issue. However, on days like that I just don't log in. And usually after a few days the balance of threads returns to normal.

In general I also don't like to see the whole forum attacking a single individual, no matter how reprehensible the individuals actions may allegedly be.

However, the thing that gets me most is when a escort I've met is slated on the boards. Regardless of whether allegations are true or not, I have a "blind loyalty" streak and hate to see someone who's been good to me being hurt. Having thought about it, I think this is the only scenario that may eventually get me banned or run off the boards.


In summary (ignore all the waffle above), I think we have a good forum and a good balance although clearly that balance will swing from time to time and it will be imposssible to keep us all happy, all the time. So ladies and gentleman, lets enjoy what we have and look at the good more than the bad.

Yes Morpheus, I can accept that . Where we perhaps differ is that I just dont find escapism in the ' sweet kisses ' threads. Where I do find it I suppose is in the nuts and bolts of how things work and how people tick particularly in an industry which is so badly understood by society in general .

I will make the odd observation concerning some of these topics but overall I tend to post on issues directly concerning this industry and the people in it. This is primarily a sex site -- there are other more general discussion boards where one can thrash out things which dont concern prostitution.

I like debate and people passionately expressing opposing views but I can understand this may not suit everyone.

Yes, we agree here. I have always hated bullying and tend to always favour the underdog in most things.

I think in general we do. However, this is a tricky business and it is only by the application of checks and balances that ground rules are made and accepted.

I wouldn't come to that conclusion Banjo. A lot of us have expressed sentiments that echo yours (albeit not in the same strongly terminology - underworld!)
