Statement to EI community...
Folks,
Recently, there was a thread about an escort that was presumed by many to be advertising as being available in Ireland, but supposedly in custody in another country. As a result of the uproar, the advertising profile was taken down. I wrote to Patricia and expressed concern about how the escort should enjoy the presumption of innocence until found guilty by a court, as said escort has only been charged; not convicted.
How ironic that I find myself a couple weeks later being accused and convicted without even knowing what the specific allegations are AND without the benefit of the presumption of innocence! Since Tuesday, Amber’s letter has resulted in a substantial amount of posting with no less than 5 threads locked as a result. All this before I have even responded.
Much has been made of why I haven’t responded so quickly. I will not be governed by a mob mentality that dictates when I should respond. Currently, I am in the middle of some important projects and my work in the real world will always be the priority. Just will not drop everything to deal with what is essentially a tempest in a teapot compared to what I deal with on a daily basis.
Before I begin, there has been commentary of me supposedly spending time trying to garner support. It is not true. I have not asked anyone to fight on my behalf. My time was spent reading all the relevant postings as well as trying to get clarity on various points.
I first learned of Amber’s post at approximately 7pm on Tuesday evening. Given that the post was more of a rant than a civilized letter with specific questions, I decided to deal with this in a methodical manner and check emails and pm’s.
Meanwhile, the past two days have been very revealing for the mere fact that hysteria and mob rule replaced civility and respectful dialogue. Additionally, the very people accusing me of having engaged in gossip and rumour mongering were doing just the same.
The irony of Amber’s post is that it brought out into the open the issue of escorts and clients talking with each other.
The Nads in his thread, “Catfight”, states the following:
“…confirm that I have discussed other escorts & punters with them both. That is not to say that it was bitchy or catty, just normal discourse. Any of you who say that this doesn't happen is a liar.”
Now, I have checked and can confirm that I have never sent an email to Amber. If she disagrees, then I am asking her to forward any email(s) to EI and myself. I have checked my pm’s and there is no personal information given to Amber. If Amber has any, then she can report those to EI and I would ask EI to just confirm whether there is any personal information contained in said pm’d
How can I be accused of doing something if Amber states that there are some issues that I don’t know of??? To have done something wrong requires having knowledge of said wrongdoing.
Some of you have already made up your mind; others are waiting to see what I have to say. I am going to ask you to consider the following:
I do not have a single infraction with EI. In fact, I would appreciate if the moderators and managers would even just confirm in this thread that all my communications with them have been courteous and respectful. Read my posts and see if I am the type to run around throwing out spurious allegations without foundation.
Finally, of 100+ escorts that have met me, don’t you think it’s strange that the person to come forward and claim that I am besmirching reputations is a retired escort who has never met me?
