I think the Oireachtas has already ruled in this case. And given the change in constitution, the individual at the centre of the scandal can't even appeal to the high court (as it has been taken out of the hands of the judiciary).
So you can guess which way I'm am going to vote next Thursday with regards to that specific referendum. I believe an individual should always be able to appeal to the judiciary regardless of how heinous the alleged crimes may be.
