I've been away from E-I since maybe Wednesday, because of major drama in my private life, so I didn't see what had been going on here until yesterday evening. To say that I'm shocked and disappointed is an understatement, particularly as the majority involves people who I really like and would have thought had more sense.

I visited Stephanie for a quick appointment midday Saturday, while chatting she mentioned some drama on the board but she emphatically *didn't* ask me to come defend her here. She *also* didn't PM me (a regular of hers) to come defend her either, so I don't see where you've gotten the idea that she's been putting people up to defending her from some of the crap that's been going on. And while I'm on the topic, she has never, ever, said anything malicious to me about any of the other ladies on here, only good things. In fact, she recommended one of her would-be tormenters to me on my first visit (when I mentioned a certain interest), which I'm finding ironic right now.

In my company Stephanie has always been as she presents herself here, a classy lady who provides, as she says, a particular refined escort service. As to her posting style, let's say that I have a comparison close to home who also posts online with what seems to me a certain uniquely American attitude, so I have some direct experience of the unwarranted flak that this attracts.

I don't know how this 'request' is supposed to have come up, and in what context, and neither do you. I do know that I was in email contact with Stephanie on Thursday night, and again on Friday, and she never asked for support of any kind, nor on Saturday (all relevant dates from looking over two or three pages of threads here). As for 'torment', I'm an educated native English speaker and I can tell for myself when baiting's going on against one individual, thank you very much. I also don't see why I should be PM'ing the 'Hobbyist' (whom I don't know from Adam) about anything, as from what I can gather he's not to be trusted by anyone, is he?
