No one has asked you not to post. No one has jumped on you. A thread was started that was taken the wrong way. In the meantime a client was PM'ing ladies to say that you had said xxxxx and that you did xxxx, that matter was entirely different, not part of the original issue and to be frank, for someone who doesnt like bitching you took to it like a duck to water. I am quite sure Orla/Saoirse will be happy to link you to any posts, I cannot and will not spend another day getting a headache looking for posts to argue the toss with.

The rumours were and are a very serious matter and trust me, if there is even one iota of truth in it then you are in a bit of a mess- these are ladies livelihoods that are being played with. If there is no truth in it, you have just received a fast intro into how devious some clients can be. Setting yourself up to be the victim while simutaneously playing down that wont help.
Now, as to being jumped. Well, you were quite happy to send PM's to guys asking them to defend you, and also sat back while those same guys started posting furious posts asking for a ban. If you go down that route then expect the same reaction from people who know me- they know I tend to support the escort cause.
Something has happened and it would be best to get to the bottom of it with the client concerned. As far as I am concerned Orla and you made up and it is wise to leave it at that. Lucy and all, this is perhaps the most important sentence of the past few days events. While us posters/clients may get some cheap titalation out of watching a cat fight/bitchfest whatever term you want the people who are the victims are the ladies. I know of at least two involved whose business has suffered as a result of what transpired. I for one do not want to be party to anything that affects a ladies business. I think all of us who post here have to remember something said, in joke even, on this forum could affect a ladies business so lets just stop and think a bit first. I think all of us have been manipulated to some extent to give cheap thrills to an individual and that is fine if no one gets hurt, but when ladies start losing money even if only temporarily then it is not a trivial matter.

Quite. The waters are getting very muddied here. There are several things going on and dealing with those in an appropriate manner can be difficult.
The facts are that The Hobbyist has been befriending escorts for some time, and telling them various stories. There was a thread started two weeks ago, which the Hobbyist kindly replied to.

As you can see by his reply he clearly finds this situation amusing. To then have to deal with someone on a daily basis that we know to be doing these things can be very hard, but what do you do? Send everyone a PM? Discuss it in private?
We can't. He would win then. If we did things on secret, then everyones actions stay secret and he, and those like him, are free to continue on their merry way. Unfortunately this situation came to a head just as I was having a trivial spat with Stephanie, and as she was quite deeply involved in the rumour situation, the whole thing evolved into this mess. Stephanie is no doubt horrified. I suggest she take things less seriously and contribute toward making sure this doesnt happen again, and I shall try and be more thoughtful of others feelings. It was hardly the row of the century and to read the posts this morning it was only short of Stephanie saying she felt defiled.

Final say on the matter, other than to say gossip needs both a listener and a teller. I prefer to be neither, and if you involve yourself in these PM vendettas you can expect for this unholy mess to occur again.
