It wouldn't be based on posting. With most companies, they offer benefits to loyal customers; I don't see thus as a way of discriminating anyone as we are trying to make the criteria fair so that everyone has the same chance to achieve it. If anything, it would reward escorts for not constantly switching profiles, giving more of an incentive to those that do.

If loyalty is determined by lenght of advertising, then I do not see how it would not be discriminatory against new providers

In theory it's a good idea, but I can see it being very hard to put into practice and keep everyone happy.

Maybe it should be something very simple, like a 'listed since' date on all profiles so we can all see him long a profile has been in use. It's then up to the punters, the customers, to decide how they want to interpret that information.

Some people prefer new girls, some prefer more established - it's just a clarifier and not a 'reward'

I would certainly be in favour of something like this if it were to identify genuine escorts. But the criteria I would say will be very hard to quantify.

Maybe this status would apply to escorts whose profile hasn't changes in say six months, has had verified pictures all that time, who's payment credit card or bank account has not been linked with any other account.

I must admit my initial reaction to this was a little negative, as the first thing that sprang to mind was that the better organised agency is going to be all over this. As they have the time and the means to slowly but surely create profiles that will in time qualify.

As I initially said, I'm all for identifying genuine escorts.
But I'm not sure an automated qualifying system could spot fraudulent profiles. Is it going to cross reference each profile with the movements of other profiles to see if there is a pattern that might suggest multiple linked profiles that advertise as independent ?
Now I understand from the websites point of view an automated system would be simpler for dealing with complaints of why am I not getting a gold status ? From escorts, but I think without some human input it will be too easy for agencies to create these profiles.

There was a certain Romanian escort ring busted in April, all the escorts that were/still are part of this ring would fill all the criteria for Gold Escorts as all had Verified Photos, large amount of positive reviews and each was advertising here for a long time.

if the system is automated that means that each of these agency/trafficked/pimped girls will get a Gold Advertiser Status and then punters will think it's OK to visit them. Little do they know their phones calls could be getting listened to and the Garda could be about to pay a visit.

this is not a very cheap thing to be at
makes it a lot easier for people to see that this is a long established advertiser

Ultimately we want established escorts to stand out for being loyal and for meeting the above criteria highlighted in bold, and this would also help punters to make better informed decisions when it comes to choosing an ecort when booking.

Any constructive thoughts would be very much appreciated, as we really want to find a means to help everyone find a happy medium.

A Gold Advertiser Status as proposed, only shows that the advertiser has been advertising on this site for however long you decide that this loyalty period should be....it is nothing more than that....your reference to punters making better informed decisions, personally I find ridiculous...informed decisions about what exactly...all it facilitates is that she is a long term advertiser, nothing more.

I think you need to be clear about what the gold border, or whatever it is you decide on, means. Is it about "rewarding escorts for their loyalty to advertising on the website" or about identifying "long established genuine escorts"?

Well, it's both really... to ensure that escorts are rewarded for being loyal advertisers, and in turn, highlights them as established escorts. It would help clients to identify escorts that are actually established for the right reasons.

The only thing this proposal does is highlight that an escort has advertised here for however long you decide. References to 'Genuine' escorts and established for 'the right reasons' will not be sorted by the addition of a gold border.

If you genuinely want to reward long term advertisers......cut out all this gold border shit....offer them a discount on the advertising rates.

Well, if the intention here is to have a loyal base of customers for the website (ie offer an incentive to ladies who advertise continuously and longer with you), then I think this is good idea. This is business for E-I and I see nothing wrong to have profitable business. I aspire to have higher profits every year.

However, if the intention here is to have a system to help punters identify ladies who are genuine/reliable etc, then I feel you are duplicating role of review system. I also believe there are many holes in the system (at least whatever has been presented to us.)

Example A:
A lady has advertised with E-I for period which meets the threshold for gold advertise status, but has terrible reviews or does not allow reviews.

Example B:
A agency operates same profile for period which meets the threshold for gold advertise status, but lady is changed every few months. Pics are not verified and reviews are not allowed.

Example C:
A new lady (2-3 months), way off the threshold period, with glowing reviews and clear indications lady is good company.

Example D:
(assuming gold status is only for ladies who allow reviews). A well established lady of good repute (I remember Amber's post that became full fledged debate on this topic some time ago) decides she has enough reviews and does not want to be reviewed any more.

Which one the four would get gold status? If it is first two, am I not as a punter being mislead?

I can think of few more such scenarios but bit lazy to write them out here.

I am sure you would have thought of this as well. Maybe if you can share bit more details, we would be able to opinions which make more sense.

Meanwhile, I still believe if you could have small indications on thumbnails to indicate if lady allows reviews and pics are verified will serve better purpose.
