Ok, so I was recently looking at my profile and I noticed I have references. When I got over the shock of finding something on my profile I had so far missed, I began to wonder what was the function of the references. My first reaction was one of pride, wow I am so good the girls are giving me references....then realism set in and I realised its the girls way of saying you are safe client.

Despite my damaged pride I realised how important something like this is, so what do others think, should we be more aware of the references, and ladies do you ever actually check a person references before you accept a booking. It could be the guarantee that keeps you from meeting some headcases....or maybe not, LOL

I hadn't realised I had references until I saw this post and checked my own profile. The way things are set up seems somewhat strange. References are anonymous, but we can see who gave us references. If escorts can't see who gave the references then why would they trust them? And if references are going to be anonymous, then why should we see who gave us ours?

Good question, not sure who can see them besides yourself, maybe the girls can see who left them so they can cross reference them.

"its the girls way of saying you are safe client" - of course that is what it is about Doodles! And I'm very chuffed when a lady does give me a reference for those very reasons. And you can refer back to them when making a booking with a new girl if she so wants.

I'm not so sure how useful client references are given that there is already a review system for escorts. (However, I certainly give references to the ladies I've seen).

And yes, it's a pity more people don't know about this even though it has been publicized on a few threads.

you thought I was being sarcastic?! joking aside, you do know that on Punting Forums of this type, there is normally an 'Escorts Only' section.. I have no direct knowledge of one on EI but would be surprised if it didn't exist ( & from my experience elsewhere - no they don't talk about the trivial shite I mentioned- it's more about the girls safety in avoiding creeps etc)
