Let me ask all of the contributors to this thread the following question ;Do you love your self?. For if you cannot love yourself. how can you truly love another...?.

Very rarely does one experince the joy and pain of real love. I envy those that do .

I have written one or two in my time, struck by L'amour I find the intensity in them to be difficult to read afterwards... a fear of intimacy and an embarressment around love and lust.

love its the most beutiful feeling u can ever feel,but it can hearth as well so...i think everybody wishes to be in love but the problem is to be in love and to be happy with it in the same time...not always is possibile...unfortunately....

You're right Stephanie, the art of letter writing (which includes saucy, sensual, lusty letters) is gone!


The only one thing I would add regarding love and lust (completely irrelevant this site of course) - is that when they combine....phwroar! It's rocket fuel levels of sexual energy!! (And I'll bet that's what inspired a lot of these letters, poetry and quotations).

A wasted exercise on this lot me thinks.
I agree entirely with you though, comitttting such personal thoughts to verse is a lost art & a very beautiful one. I still scrawl the odd poem but then you know that already :-)
