Ah, before the advent of emailing and texts and phones, we had the artistry of words,

to carry our feelings across oceans and plains..

Letters that took weeks to arrive, and the pleasure they brought..

Is it a lost art, I ask you, or do some of us still posess the richness of the soul to bring forth such magnificent feelings..

The aching, and longing in these few lines (almost ) make me wish I would be in love..
