    Default An Idiot Abroad

My sister bought it for me Christmas 2010

I've only just opened it today and have been watching it. It was one of those DVD's where I thought, "Well, it'll be midly amusing", but after watching Carl's trip to China (to see the Great Wall) and India (the Taj Mahal), I've not stopped laughing at this guy!

Has anyone else watched it, and what do you think of it?

Yep I've been watching it - Can't decide if he's playing the idiot or he really is one. Either way I love Pilkington

Jesus wept, and here was me thinking that I was slow to get around to doing things.

Sam, if you can exercise the same amount of restraint, patience and self-control in bed, you must be one hell of a ride........on the other hand, if the lady is looking for a quicky, you must be a nightmare.

Saw title of this thread & presumed it was about me LOL
I watch the RG show on BBC America & Pilkington is best part of it.
On a tangental note, RG was in a recent priceless episode of Curb Your Enthuiasm.

Let me tell you guys Carl Pilkington is far far far from been stupid, that guy is as shape as a razor. He does an amazing impression at being stupid. That man is hilarious.

You’re right Sam the one in China is unreal, you see the time the old woman is beating the toad making him his dinner? It gets better Sam wait to you see him in Mexico, you’ll burst yourself laughing.

That guy would be able to do stand-up no bother.

Can’t wait for this Friday nights An Idiot Abroad 2.

I just watched the Mexico episode and his pursuit for the fabled 'Mexican Jumping Bean' was hilarious! I nearly pissed myself when he told that guy on the plate stall to get rid of half his plates and put a load of jumping beans on instead. I was laughing my head off when he went up to those Mexican ladies and said, "Get some Mexicna jumping beans... you're not doing anything all day. Get some! You'll love 'em! Jumping about all of the place!"

And yes John, the toad in China... this guy is priceless! He is a true legend! I agree, sharp as a knife but Im not sure if he is clever or just unintentionally funny
