    Wink I am just courious...?

    Hy everyone

I think it's already well known that guys are more attached with their mothers even if they have a certain age..why do you think is this happening? Do you ever felt your mom beeing over protective when you were dating someone.. or is this just a girl thought??

    kisses
    Alx

There's been plenty of Psychology Theses written on this topic, many men are connected to their mothers in a profound manner ( & vice versa for plenty of girls) & the phenomenon of the "Irish Mammy" is well recognized. The two appear to be interconnected, many Irish women adored their daddies & they substitute their offspring when their father passes on leading to a cycle which keep self perpetuating. Mothers the world over often smother their male off spring ( especially if he's the first born) & overprotect these sons, so the outcome isn't very surprising!
Don't mean to derail your OP.. but imho, another connected question is the theory that some escorts have serious daddy issues i.e. those girls who grew up without a father figure are supposedly "trying to fill that void" be becoming providers? I don't know if it's true & am not making any value statement other than it's seems plausible!

It works both ways, Mothers and there sons and Daddy's little girl, as Franken said it's a repeating circle. Personally I don't believe in encouraging it..

Agree Anon. But must admit I had a very strong bond with my mum but I never thought she was overprotective. She was fair and openminded. Like most mums, she would give her life to protect her sons.

To most men their mother can do no wrong. But eventually we realise they are human like the rest of us. I was lucky I had a mother who was a good mother but a "good woman" which is more important. As to being overprotective, she had enough sons to be worn out being overprotective, LOL
