This is a question I have wanted to answer for years now, it bugs me, my first album was actually a Vinyl EP, I loved the song so much, it wasn't a popular band but I just can't remember anything about them, not even the song, I just know I loved it

Remember getting that album. Sound quality kinda sh1t but something really electric about it.

Remember the sleeve notes by I think George Martin and his little girl asked who the Beatles where and where they as big as the Bay City Rollers . He said I don't think so lol.

The first albums I had (on cassette) were Bad and Thriller. I got these in around 1986 with a red (second hand) stereo tape recorder (that I referred to as my 'ghetto blaster' at the time ).

Naturally, I was drawn to the rock tracks on the albums

This was the first proper album I ever bought.

I am not counting any Hits compilation albums or any Now That's What I Call Music albums, which I am so so so so ashamed of.
