    Default First album?

Apologies if this has been asked previously (should I also apologise for raising yet another inane non-sex related discussion topic?)

Anyway the idiotic question, that it has just popped into my head to ask a bunch of people I don't really know, is: what was the first album you ever bought for yourself?

While no doubt we are all, on reflection, ashamed of our musical tastes at the time when we first got our hands on some cash, I'll be honest and admit that my first was "Now that's what I call music 3" -- Double cassette no less.

I recall that it included such musical delights as Scritti Politti, The Fine Young Cannibals, and sundry other dross.

Obviously showing my age here. So come on, yours can't be much worse than that. Confess if you dare

This has been done a few times but still fun.

The Police - Regatta de Blanc

I can still remember the thrill of hearing the opening notes of message in a bottle.

Played it many many times over and started a love affair with my stereo and vinyl.

Now you see that's the sort of thing I need: something to make me feel better about my own appalling lack of taste ... but yeah, the blond one, oh yeah!
